Verification & Assurance · Validation Services
Project validation you can take to market.
Independent, ISO 14064-3 aligned validation of GHG project designs — confirming your methodology, baseline, and additionality before a single credit is issued.
Validation is the forward-looking opinion that unlocks credit issuance.
Before a carbon project can issue credits, an accredited third party must validate the project design document (PDD) — confirming that the proposed methodology is appropriate, the baseline scenario is sound, additionality is demonstrated, and the monitoring plan is adequate.
EDAT's validation engagements are structured under ISO 14064-3 and aligned with the specific requirements of the applicable crediting standard — VCS, Gold Standard, Article 6.4, or another recognised programme. We review all project documentation, assess evidence of additionality, and issue a formal validation opinion that registries accept.
