Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) is the operational backbone of every credible carbon project, regulatory compliance programme, and voluntary GHG commitment. The quality of the MRV system — the sensors, data flows, calculation models, reporting procedures, and internal controls — determines whether the emission reductions claimed are real and defensible.
EDAT independently assesses MRV systems against the requirements of the applicable crediting standard, regulatory framework, and IPCC methodology tier — providing an evidence-based audit opinion on whether the monitoring infrastructure is adequate to support the emission reduction claims being made.
